New Program: “School’s Out FUN DAY”
Beginning this fall, Blacksburg Parks and Recreation will introduce “School’s Out FUN DAY”, a brand-new programming opportunity for kids ages 6-10, to be held on days when Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) are closed for teacher workdays.
Each day will feature different activities, including games, art, swimming, disc golf, bowling, laser tag, and more. Participants should bring a packed, nut-free lunch for each day, as well as a swimsuit and towel.
School’s Out FUN DAY will be held from 9am – 4:30pm on the following days:
- Tuesday, November 5, 2024
- Thursday, January 2, 2025
- Friday, January, 3, 2025
- Wednesday, March 26, 2025* (*available for registration beginning in January 2025)
