Lyons, Glenn Irven

Glenn Irven Lyons, Sr., 85, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was born on May 10, 1939, in Newbern, Virginia, to the late William and Pearl Holderfield Lyons.

Along with his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his sons, Glenn Lyons Jr., and Wesley Lyons; brothers, Lawrence, Gene, Raymond, Joe and John Lyons; and his sisters, Ruby Grost, Helen Freeman, Edna Underwood and Darlene Lyons.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Greta Dowdy (Donald), and Wanda Southern; son and daughter-in-law, William Lyons (Terrie); grandchildren, Donna Dowdy, Glenn Lyons, III, Sean and Jason Southern, Amber Dalton, Justin Presgraves and Tiffany Lyons; a numerous amount of grandchildren; sister, Margaret Freeman; and many other family members and special friends.

Per his request, no services will be held at this time.
