Whittaker, Michelle Davis

Michelle Lee Davis Whittaker, age 50, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at her home in Radford, VA. Born August 31, 1973, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Scottie Alan Davis and Mary East Atwood.

Michelle was a homemaker who enjoyed doing word searches and different puzzle games. She enjoyed going to church any chance she could get. Her favorite time was around Christmas when she was able to be around all her family, whom she dearly loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Iretta East; grandfather, Bob Davis; stepfather, David Atwood; four uncles; and several cousins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 34 years, Chris Whittaker; one son, Christopher Whittaker; two daughters, Kristen Branson and Kaitlyn Whittaker; her grandmother, Franceina Suttle Turner; one brother, Christopher Davis; stepmother, Sandy Powell; two grandchildren; one stepbrother and sister-in-law; and many other extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Ricky Green officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
