Jefcoat, Nathan Cole

At 8:42 pm on August 3 rd , 2024, our trout fishing, water loving, Country music blaring, truck driving, YEEHAW yelling, first born son, Nathan Cole Jefcoat, passed away in a car accident. He took his last breath at the scene.

For those who go to the site, please be aware you must walk down a dangerous road to get there. We cannot keep you away, we only encourage you to please be safe if you go.

Cole leaves behind hundreds of people that love and adore him like we do. We are so immensely proud that he made such an impact on so many of you.

The Celebration of Life for Cole Jefcoat will be on Sunday August 11th , 2024. 1:00pm – 4:00pm. The Bent Mountain Center (10148 Tinsley Lane. Bent Mountain, 24059) Handicap parking will be needed, so please respect those spaces. In lieu of flowers, please visit Dogtown Roadhouse in Floyd, VA, where Cole loved his job and coworkers. Dine in, purchase a gift card, or get a meal to go. Please honor him by supporting a local eatery. The family wants to thank Dogtown Roadhouse for generously catering Cole’s Celebration of Life on Sunday.

Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmom Jesse and Rochelle Jefcoat. His mother Renee Hulten (Jefcoat) and his loving siblings, Zack and Mya Jefcoat. His paternal grandparents Tina and Wayland Burnette, Benton and Christina Jefcoat and their son, Samuel Jefcoat. His maternal grandfather R.A. Hulten. His maternal aunt and uncle, Nicole and Steve Stabach, and their sons Stephen and Christian. Additionally, Cole has many extended family members from the Jefcoat, Lee, and Hulten families who will miss him. Cole was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Hillary Hulten.

Two other especially important mentions are his two best friends, Robert, and Jay. You two were his heart and soul and he will live long through you both. Our hearts are with you.

A third unforgettable mention is his girlfriend, Chloe. He simply adored everything about you, and we are thinking of you and your family. Thank you for loving our baby like we did.

Lastly, to his Bent Mountain and surrounding family. We know you are hurting; we feel for you, and we see you. Cole loved you all so immensely, and we understand how heartbroken you are. You should absolutely live vicariously through him, but please, always be safe and wear your seatbelt.

Cole lived his life every day, the only way he knew how: fearlessly and wide open!
