Brown, Sheldon D.

Sheldon D. “Booger” Brown, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born January 10, 1967, he was the son of the late Donald Lee and Jennetta LaRue Conley Brown.

Booger enjoyed many things, including spending time at the football field, coaching little league, fishing, and attending and watching different sporting events, especially his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Additionally, he loved spending time with his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Natasha McKenzie (Andrew); grandchildren, Ashton, Kennedy, and Porter; sister, Sheila Dunn (Marshall); brothers, Donald Brown (Penny), Rodney Brown (Tammy), and Joe Brown (Kim); many nieces, nephews, and special friends; and his faithful companion, his beloved dog, Marley.

A celebration of Booger’s life will be held from 2:00PM until 4:00PM on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Rich Creek Community Center (140 Spruce Street, Rich Creek, VA 24147).
