Blankenship, Mark Wayne

Mark Wayne Blankenship, 54 of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Mark loved to tell stories, joke, have a good time, and make people laugh. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Clyde & Elsie Blankenship; brother, David Blankenship; nieces, Lydia Major (Jaylen) and Emma Blankenship (Mikie Allen); aunts, Annie Lester, Marie & Don Lester, and Peggy & Marvin Parker; and cousins, Angie Wright, Hannah Quesenberry, Bruce Neece, and Tony Neece.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
