Jackson, Troy Elden

Troy Elden Jackson, 57, of Peterstown, WV, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA. Born July 28, 1966, in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of Henry Elden “Eldie” Jackson and Doris Atkins Jackson of Bozoo, WV.

Troy was employed at Celanese for more than 30 years. He raised pigs and enjoyed gardening, mechanic work, and playing cornhole. He especially enjoyed cooking and hunting.

He is survived by two sons, Tyler Jackson and fiancé Susan Pack of Lindside, WV, and Matthew Elden Jackson of Peterstown, WV; a daughter he never had, Carson Fisher; one brother, Brian Keith Jackson and wife Shannon of Peterstown, WV; one sister, Rhonda Stanley and husband Randy of Vinton, VA; and two grandchildren, Melody Jackson and Connor Elden Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Bozoo, WV, with Dean Rumberg, Cy Williams, Brad Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Tyler Jones, and Kevin Spicer serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 12:00PM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
