Burks, Thomas Devon

Thomas Devon Burks, 58, of Radford, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Burks and son Shakeem James.

He is survived by his parents, Earnest T. and Georgia Ann Hayden; wife, Marchelle L. Saunders; children, Melody Burks, Sheletta Saunders, Markeece Saunders, Shaquille Saunders, and Darrius Saunders; grandson, Malaki Saunders; siblings, Michelle Charlton Concepcion, McAllister Hugo Charlton III, Angela Marie Charlton, Ethan Tyree Charlton, Earnest Hayden, and Bryan Hayden; dog Angelo; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2023, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
