Scott, Martha Linkous

Rena “Martha” Scott, age 83 of Blacksburg, VA went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 24, 2024. She was born in Blacksburg on Thursday, August 1, 1940, to the late Jessie Black Linkous and Mille Brown Duncan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillipe Scott; sisters, Hazel Linkous, Elizabeth Weaver, Lois Porterfield, and Lorene Beeman; brother, Ervin Linkous, and great-grandson, KaVon Brown

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Ford) Graham; brother-in-law, John Porterfield; grandchildren, Candace Davis, Kelley Fisher, and Justin Graham; 10 great-grandchildren, and special friend Ellen Scott.

A memorial service will be held, Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Triplet officiating. The family will receive friends from 2- 3:00 P.M. before the service.
