Fain, Lee Neal
Lee “Bubba or Bub,” Neal Fain, 14, of Christiansburg, VA., went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024. Lee was born February 22, 2009, in Roanoke, VA and was a son of Amanda Marie Neice Donathan of Christiansburg and Lee Frederick Fain of KY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Rosa Vaught and paternal grandfather, Fred Fain and an uncle, Darin Neice.
His favorite animal was his puppy, Cookie. She was the same age as him and they loved to cuddle and have bonding time together. She was always with him no matter where he went. Another dog he loved was his sister’s dog, Teddy. He would always come through the house and grab Teddy up and love on him a little bit and made sure he put him right back down beside his mom where Teddy would always lay. His favorite sports were basketball and football. He always enjoyed playing with his friends and showing off all his wonderful and amazing skills to everyone around him. He always enjoyed spending time with all his amazing and loving friends. He also loved playing video games with all of his buddies and loved being on FaceTime, being loud all hours of the night and staying up all night with his friends playing Fortnite and other games
Besides his parents, he is survived by, 3 sisters, Tabitha Nicole Lilly of Blacksburg, Harmony L. Williams and Bethany A. Lilly, both of the home in Christiansburg, maternal grandparents, David and Tina Neice of Princeton and paternal grandmother, Brenda Fain, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2pm at Angels Rest Fellowship in Pearisburg, VA., with Pastor Craig Whittaker officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church 2 hours before the service from 12 – 2 pm. Online condolences can be sent to the family at givensfuneralhome.com.
