Broyles, Donald Wayne

Donald (Donnie) Wayne Broyles of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born January 25, 1959, Donnie spent 40+ years in the parts department at auto dealerships in the NRV and Roanoke. Outside of work, he loved spending time with his family and cherished being a grandfather. Donnie also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and could be found on Sundays in the fall, in his recliner watching the NFL.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife Belinda Broyles; son, Cory (Evan) Broyles of Bernardsville, NJ; daughter, Brittany (Andrew) Harris of Floyd, VA; granddaughters, Harper and Hallie Harris; grandchild, Baby Broyles coming February 2024; sister, Joan Vinson of Christiansburg, VA.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Garnett “Doc” and Evelyn “Sis” Broyles; brother, Eugene Broyles; sister, Phyllis Broyles Rhodes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in memory of Donnie.

Visitation and memorial service will be held at McCoy Funeral home in Blacksburg, VA on January 17, 2024. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and the memorial service will be held immediately after.
