Dickerson, Roger L.

Roger L. Dickerson of Riner passed away January 7, 2024. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Volvo Truck plant with 30+ years of service.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Hiley and Wave Dickerson. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; brother, Hiley, Jr.; sister, Shirley; children, Stephanie and Wayne. Also surviving are step-children Dean, Jason and Yasemin; and several grandchildren.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin. If you wish to go in the procession, please meet at Horne Funeral Home at 12:15 p.m.
