Amos III, Daniel Carter

Daniel Carter Amos III, age 73, of Blacksburg, Virginia, died at home on January 3, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 29, 1950, to the late Dan and Anne Doppler Amos. He is also preceded in death by his wife Reneé Marie Amos.

He is survived by his sister, Gabrielle Minnich, and his brother-in-law Todd Minnich; nephews Dylan and Riley Minnich; and his significant other Gayle Kidd. He is also survived by his best friend, David McDaniel, the McDaniel family, and bonus son Forrest Kidd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Virginia Healthcare System.
