Bomb Threat towards Blacksburg Police Department
On October 14, 2023 at approximately 2330 hours, the Blacksburg Police Department was made aware of a bomb threat towards the Police Department. The threat had been posted online through a social media profile. Upon investigation it was found the suspect was an individual living in the Town of Blacksburg and was identified as Jaden Eubanks. Eubanks was arrested and charged with Code of Virginia 18.2-83: Threats to bomb or damage buildings.
Eubanks was initially charged with threats to bomb or damage buildings, which is a felony charge; however, on Thursday, Dec. 7, it was amended to trespassing, a misdemeanor charge.
According to court records, he was found guilty and sentenced to 60 days, with 50 suspended.
He’s also on probation for a year.

The police embarrassed themselves by responding to a private joke post only able to be seen by my friends. It is ridiculous that this ever became a public matter and because of parasitic “journalism” sites like this one, my name is now synonymous with an alleged bomb threat any time it’s put into google. Delete this, please.
