July 4th Closings & Schedules

Blacksburg: Town Offices
Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit
There will be no Blacksburg Transit service and BT offices will be closed.

Community Center
The Blacksburg Community Center will be closed.

Aquatic Center
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center will be closed.

Trash/Recycling Pickup
There will be no Trash and Recycling pickup in the NW Quadrant. Makeup service will be Wednesday, July 5. Please have all material at the curb by 7am.

Christiansburg: Town of Christiansburg facilities, including the Aquatic and Recreation Centers, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.

Solid waste and recycling normally collected on Tuesdays will be collected on Wednesday, July 5, along with Wednesday’s regular collection.

Dublin: Town Offices will be closed Monday July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th for the Independence Holiday.  Garbage scheduled to be picked up on Monday, July 3rd will be picked up on Wednesday, July 5th; Garbage scheduled for pick up on Wednesday, July 5th will be picked up on Thursday, July 6th and Businesses will be picked up on their regular day Friday, July 7th

Radford: City Administrative Offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 and Wednesday, July 5 for Independence Day. The solid waste collection schedule is below.

Tuesday, July 4: Collected on Monday, July 3.

Wednesday, July 5: Collected on Thursday, July 6.

*Please have garbage ready for collection by 7:30 a.m.

Closed: Tuesday, July 4 and Wednesday, July 5

Open: Thursday, July 6 at 7:30 a.m.
