8/28: Riner Fire Dept. Open House

Riner Fire Department is hosting an Open House on Saturday, August 28th from 10 am to 2 pm.

Tours and demonstrations will be provided. Free blood pressure checks will be provided by Riner Rescue, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department will have the Fire/Rescue Appreciation vehicle along with their drone team. Christiansburg Fire will have their ladder truck, Blacksburg Police and Virginia State Police will have their motorcycles for show.

There are lots of activities for children – a bouncy house, helium balloons, snow cones, games, and photo opportunities. Children 12 and under can register for a free bike to be given away (2 bikes will be given away).

Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served between 11:30 to 1.

There will be a 50/50 raffle along with many door prizes available.
