Independence Day Closings
Blacksburg: All town administrative offices will be closed on Monday, July 5
There will be no BT service on Sunday, July 4 and BT offices will be closed on Monday, July 5 and BT service will operate on the Reduced Service operating schedule.
There will be no trash and recycling service in the SE Quadrant on Monday, July 5. Make up service will be on Wednesday, July 7. Please have your trash and recycling carts at the curb by 7am on Wednesday morning.
The Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will be closed on Sunday, July 4 but will be open regular operating hours on Monday, July 5.
Christiansburg: In observance of Independence Day, Town Hall will be closed on Monday, July 5.
The Aquatic and Rec Centers will be closed on Sunday, July 4, and Monday July 5.
Solid waste normally collected on Mondays will be collected on Friday, July 2, with Friday’s regular collection.
Montgomery County: The following Montgomery County offices and facilities will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Montgomery County Administrative Offices will re-open on Tuesday, July 6, at 8:30 a.m.
Pulaski County: Monday, July 5, 2021, Pulaski County Offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day. The Pulaski County Public Service Authority billing office will be closed on Monday, July 5, 2021, in observance of Independence Day. The three convenience centers (Bagging Plant Road, Dublin; Dora Highway, Pulaski; and Mason Street, Fairlawn) will be closed on Saturday, July 3, 2021, and will reopen on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in observance of Independence Day. There will be no garbage collection on Monday, July 5, 2021. Garbage collection will be on a one (1) day delay with Thursday, July 8, 2021, and Friday, July 9, 2021, garbage to be collected on Friday, July 9, 2021.
