8/20: Stars Go Dim at Summer Concert Series
The City of Radford is hosting a Summer Concert Series throughout this summer. On Saturday, August 20 we are pleased to welcome Stars Go Dim, a National Contemporary Christian Group to our community. We are also pleased to welcome Kindred to the stage as the opening act. We are so very excited to have a National group of this caliber join us for our 2022 Summer Concert Series in the City of Radford.
HEADLINING – Stars Go Dim was formed by Chris Cleveland (artist and songwriter) in 2007 and has garnered multiple No. 1 radio smash hits such as “You Are Loved” and “Yes He Does”. Chris has toured the world, written, and played with many of the biggest artists in Christian music in the last 15 years, including: Lauren Daigle, For King & Country, Bethel Music, Maverick City and countless more. His newest project, Grace In The Wilderness, was released this past spring and the first single “Yes He Does” was an instant #1 radio hit.
OPENING – Kindred Dustin Chapman and Ryleigh Madison are a unique uncle-niece duo out of Whiteville, North Carolina who formed the group Kindred. They have been dubbed “old souls” as they both incorporate traditional and contemporary country and gospel into their sound. Using their talents, the duo has traveled all around the Southeast uplifting others with their sound. You may recognize both of these talented singers on American Idol; Dustin Chapman was a contestant on Season 19 and Ryleigh was a semi-finalist on the historic 20th season of American Idol.
The concert will take place on the fields of Glencoe (600 Unruh Drive). The gates open at 6:00 p.m. and concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 a person and children under 12 are free. Food trucks will be available.
