6/8: Claytor Lake Beach Festival

The Claytor Lake Festival Committee presents the 22nd Annual Claytor Lake Beach Festival on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA.

The festival kicks off the summer season at Claytor Lake State Park each year! Enjoy entertainment all days, fireworks at night, arts & crafts, beach access, free children’s activities, radio controlled airplanes performing stunts & tricks, youth & adult fishing tournament and lots more!

Events & Activities Schedule:
• 7:00-10:00 am: Everett Lee Yearout, Jr. Adult / Youth Fishing Tournament
• 8:30-10:30 am: Car & Motorcyle Show Registration
• 10:00 am – 2:30 pm: Car & Motorcycle Show
• 10:00 am – 9:00 pm: Arts, Crafts & Food Vendors
• 10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Law Enforcement Drive In & Display
• 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 83 NRV
• 11:00 am – 7:00 pm: Wine Tasting with Virginia Wineries
• 2:00 pm: Car & Motorcycle Show Awards Presentation
• 3:00-4:00 pm: Boat Parade
• At Dusk: Fireworks by Grucci

Entertainment Line-Up & Schedule:
• 11:00 am: Wohlfahrt Haus Players Mini Performance of “Annie”
• 11:45 am: Triple Play
• 2:30 pm: Audio Rain
• 5:30 pm: Part Time Party Time Band
• 8:45 pm: Southern Nights

The live entertainment will continue until the fireworks by Gucci begin and then the music will resume after the fireworks.

Beach access will be available from the State Park. Adults are $4.00 and children are $3.00.

Registration for the Everett Lee Yearout, Jr. Adult and Youth Fishing Tournament will be held 7:00-10:00 am. This year the tournament theme is “Fishing is a hobby because…”. Essays are due at 12:00 pm. Trophies and awards will be given out in the afternoon.

There is a $10.00 parking fee or $5.00 with a donation of five cans of food that will be donated to a local food bank.

Wineries for the wine tasting include Mountain Rose Vineyard, Iron Heart Winery and Rural Retreat Winery.

There will be an ATM on site.

The Festival is planned by the Claytor Lake Festival Committee, a partnership between Pulaski County, Claytor Lake State Park and the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors.
