5/3: Christiansburg Farmers’ Market begins
The Christiansburg Farmers’ Market is back for its fourth season, and it’s going to be better than ever! Opening day will be held on Hickok Street NW from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3.
In addition to fresh, local produce, opening day will feature a live performance by Mitch Clark. There will be facepainting and balloon sculpting for children between 4 and 6 p.m. You won’t have to worry about going home for dinner because 2Dye4Que, Beliveau Estate Winery, Homestead Creamery, and Till & Grill will be in attendance. Buffalo and More, Hook Line and Sinker and Mountain View Hops will also be attending opening day.
The market has several returning vendors (Brugh Coffee, Cavalier Farms, Denhill Permaculture, Stumpridge Farms, and Weeping Willow Farm), and is excited to welcome the following new vendors for the 2018 season: Beliveau Estate Winery, Bird and Hopper Farm, Flower Haven, Gracie’s Garden, Granny Bean’s Confections, Grateful Bread, Honeywood Acres, Manns Sausage Company, Plant 1 On U and Swallowtail Tea.
See you on Hickok Street!
