3/23: Taste of Floyd
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 12-2 pm, some of Floyd’s top restaurants and food businesses will gather at the Floyd Center for the Arts for the highly anticipated Taste of Floyd event. This community favorite promises to delight your senses with an incredible selection of local culinary offerings!
Barbara von Claparède-Crola, of the Floyd Center for the Arts, says, “We’re excited to welcome back some of Floyd’s locally-loved restaurants and introduce new ones, including Michael Gucciardo, chef of the beloved Mickey G’s and now Maples Restaurant at Olde Mill. This year’s event celebrates our community’s incredible culinary talent, and we’re grateful for all the businesses that make it possible.”
Participating restaurants include Cocoa Mia, Pantoufle’s Bistro, Slaughters, Chantal Coffee, Big Indian Farm Bakery, Bread Basket, Deer Park Farm, DJ’s Drive-In, El Charro Mexican Grill, Floyd Country Store, Gnomestead Hollow, Dogtown, Harvest Moon Food Store, Parkway Grille, Maples Restaurant (Chef Mickey G). For those with a sweet tooth, a decadent dessert bar with chocolate fountain awaits!
All proceeds from the event will support the Floyd Center for the Arts, benefiting programs such as after-school children’s art initiatives and a wide range of events, classes, and concerts for all ages.
Tickets are $45 and provide entry to sample complimentary tastings from the area’s best food establishments while supporting a great cause.
