3/16: Melody, Harmony, & Rhythm

On Saturday, March 16, in Blacksburg, VA. Blue Ridge Vocal Connection, a regional chorus based in the New River Valley will be hosting a choral singing workshop featuring world class speakers including Ula Weber from Scotland, Gregory West from California, and three speakers from New York Vocal Coaching founded by Justin Stoney.

This all day workshop will include sessions covering vocal warm up techniques, directing for choir masters, vocal technique and advanced vocal technique, and music reading for beginners, among others. Some individuals will enjoy one-on-one training with vocal coaches, and there will be a mini-concert at the end of the day.

Lunch is included at the workshop for the ridiculously low registration fee of $20 for adults and $10 for children (registration increases to $25 and $15 on March 8).

Blue Ridge Vocal Connection performs multiple concerts through the year, and we have now performed twice at the Biltmore Estates Candlelight Christmas Celebration and Steppin’ Out in Blacksburg.
