$295,294 for Biotherapeutics, Inc.
The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, one of the institutes that make up the National Institutes of Health, has awarded $295,294 to Biotherapeutics, Inc., located in Blacksburg, VA, for their project titled, “A First-in-class Topical Immunoregulatory Therapeutic for Psoriasis.” Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
“Millions of Americans suffer from autoimmune diseases, including psoriasis. This grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases will help Biotherapeutics, Inc. in their work to find a topical relief for those suffering from psoriasis.”
