12/6: YMCA Holiday Village
The YMCA invites families to experience the joy of the season with two festive activities designed to create lasting memories and spread holiday cheer.What’s Happening:
- Meet Santa in the Gallery
Capture the magic! Bring your camera and take your own photos with Santa and his cheerful elves in a warm, welcoming setting. - Kids-Only Holiday Shopping Village
Children (up to age 12) will be guided by our friendly elves to choose and wrap thoughtful gifts for their loved ones—perfect for parents who want to see their kids experience the joy of giving.
Important Details:
- Each child may select 6–8 items for family members to ensure plenty for everyone.
- Gift items are very affordable, priced between $0.20 and $0.50 each.
- Parents are welcome to accompany their children at any time. Comfortable seating will be available in the same room while kids shop.
- Children remain in full view of parents throughout the event for safety and peace of mind.

- The Elves at Sustainable Blacksburg will be providing our environmentally friendly gift wrapping station!
- No registration required—just come on the day and follow the signage.
- A small total fee applies for gifts, payable at the Thrift Shop after selections are complete.
- This event is especially welcoming for families on a budget, offering an affordable way to celebrate the season.
