12/16: Fire on The Mountain Fundraiser

Join us at the Floyd Country Store on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 6:00 pm for a Fundraiser for Floyd County and Patrick County Fire Departments featuring music by Sammy Shelor & Friends. Donations accepted in support of our local fire departments. The Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is an all volunteer organization.

Proceeds will support all four local fire stations in Floyd:

Station #1 Fire (Town of Floyd)
Fire Chief – Chad Mills

Station #2 Fire (Willis)
Fire Chief – Tony Weddle

Station #3 Fire (Locust Grove, Check)
Fire Chief – Mark Link

Station #4 Fire (Indian Valley)
Fire Chief – Kreg Mitchell

“We at Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department Inc. will be using funds raised to buy gear and equipment to help us do what we love, which is serve the citizens of this great county. We are always buying turnout gear and equipment to put on our trucks to help us get the job done. Every Station in this county played a big part in the Tuggles Gap fire and some proceeds from this will also go toward brush gear and equipment for our guys to handle those type of fires also.
