12/14-15: Newbern Noel Nights

Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents the 2nd Annual Newbern Noel Nights on Saturday and Sunday evenings December 14th and 15th from 4 to 7 pm.

Each evening candlelight tours of the museum dressed in Holiday greens will be offered along with live music, heritage inspired sweets and savories, wassail from hand pressed Newbern Apples or the Museum’s customed Apple Honey Black Tea Blend, a Barn Bazaar featuring living historians and crafters selling the perfect handmade items for that history lover on your list and more!

On Saturday, December 14th only, enjoy a special horse drawn wagon wassailing along the Wilderness Road at 4:00 pm. Also, enjoy live music from Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge.

Refreshments include wassail, bacon wrapped chestnut fritters, sugar plums, moravian cookies, heritage apple fritters, Cherokee blackbean balls, Welsh rarebit, tamsworth and chedder bites, pearbutter cookies, molasses cookies, lemon churd and walnut bars.

A suggested donation of $10.00 is appreciated however everyone is freely welcome.
