12/1: Giving Tuesday!

GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around our community to stand United and to use their individual power of generosity to make a difference. Our goal is to raise $5,000! All the money we raise stays one hundred percent local and serves people of the New River Valley.

United Way’s mission is to unite local people and resources to improve lives in the New River Valley. United Way unites individual and corporate donations to achieve measurable and lasting results. Our organization is primarily known for funding 22 local partner organizations, but we also provide several direct service programs like our Diaper Bank, Food Pantry, and Stuff the Bus program. United Way is a place for individuals and organizations to turn to when critical community needs arise in the New River Valley.
