10/7: Fall Harvest Celebration

The Meadowbrook Public Library presents the 2017 Fall Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

Join us for live music, free hayrides and pumpkins, contests, vendors, farmers market and more for the whole family!

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Best Pie Contest categories are Best Presentation and Judges Favorite. May submit one pie in a disposable 9-inch pie plate. Pie plates will not be returned. Pies must be able to stand at room temperature. Each person may enter more than one pie per category.

Drop off your pie between 10:00-11:30 am. Judging will be around 11:45 am. Winners will receive a blue ribbon and a prize.

Painted Pumpkin Contest Rules:
There will be one prize for each age category. One entry per person. An entry form must be filled out the day of judging. Pumpkins are to be painted, not carved. Participants will provide their own pumpkins and painting materials. Finished pumpkins should be completed at home.

Age groups are:
• Up to 7 years
• Ages 8-13
• Ages 14 to Adult

Drop off your pumpkin between 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Judging will be around 11:45 am. Pumpkins may be picked up after the 12:00 noon judging. Unclaimed pumpkins may be discarded after 2:00 pm. Winner will be announced at the Fall Festival.
