10/2: Go Pulaski County Service Day

GO PULASKI COUNTY – a county-wide service day event – is being held on Saturday, October 2. Fourteen projects are slated to be worked on in Fairlawn, Dublin, and Pulaski, and we are needing around 130 volunteers to make each service project successful.

Several projects are “kid friendly,” like finishing lap quilts for nursing home residents (knot tying) and sorting crayons and unwrapping them for a special project to serve other children in a special way. Other projects will be well served by people who have basic carpentry skills and others are general clean-up.

Organizations being served include the T G Howard Center, Pulaski Adult Day Services, Beans and Rice, Pulaski County Youth Center, Calfee Community & Cultural Center, and many more.
