10/11-12: Newbern Fall Festival
The Newbern Fall Festival is this weekend (Oct 11-12) and we have some very interesting new exhibits at the Village Center. Inside, Back Creek Wagyu will be in the original (now all new) kitchen area with world-class, 100% full-blood Wagyu beef. Not only is it delicious, the history of this line of beef cattle is fascinating. They are raised locally on Belle Hampton Farm which is a living tribute to local resilience, heritage, and hard work. Information will be there as well as Waygu for sale.
Outside, Bee Busy Apiary will have an observation hive set up, along with information about honey bees. It is mesmerizing to watch the bees at work. Tommy Hughes will also display tools used during bee keeping, hives and other equipment as well as honey and other organic bee-related products for purchase.
The Radford Photography Club will also be set up inside the Village Center.
