1/4&5: Chance Harman Classic 2019

The Chance Harman Memorial Fund presents the 12th Annual Chance Harman Classic Basketball Tournament on Friday, January 4, 2019 and Saturday, January 5, 2019.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The first 50 kids 10 and under will get free admission to the classic for the weekend! They will also get a Slam Dunk Shirt and be allowed to go on the court during the Slam Dunk Challenge! First game is at 4:30pm.

The Chance Harman Memorial Fund will be celebrating it’s 12th anniversary as some of the biggest and brightest stars of Prep Boys Basketball invade Floyd County! Saturday’s action includes nine games.

Saturday Game Schedule:
• 9:00 am – Roanoke Valley Christian vs. George Wythe
• 10:30 am – Giles vs Blacksburg
• 12:00 pm – North Cross vs. Northwest Guilford (NC)
• 1:30 pm – Roanoke Catholic vs. Calvary Day (NC)
• 3:00 pm – Carlisle vs. Teays Valley Christian (WV)
• 4:30 pm – Northside vs. Trinity Episcopal (VA)
• 6:00 pm – Floyd County vs. Gate City
• 7:30 pm – Blue Ridge School vs. Grace Christian Academy (TN)
• 9:00 pm – Massanutten Military Academy vs. Huntington Prep (WV)

The Chance Harman Classic is held annually at Floyd County High School in Floyd, Virginia. This year’s list of participants include numerous Division 1 basketball signees and recruits with three top 100 players and teams the likes of Blue Ridge School (VA), West Virginia’s #1 ranked team, schools from North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia along with many local high school teams!

Tickets are available per day or for both days of the Classic. VIP tickets are also available for the weekend and include a reserved seat at half court behind the scorers table for all games and a $10.00 concessions credit for both Friday and Saturday.

• Children Ages 5-17: $5.00
• Children Ages 4 & Below: Free

Weekend Pass:
• Adults: $20.00
• Children Ages 5-17 Up: $12.00
• Children Ages 4 & Below: Free
• VIP Weekend Package: $50.00

Chance Harman Memorial Fund (CHMF) is a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit organization based in Floyd, Virginia that raises awareness and research for the medical advancement of Pediatric Brain Cancer. CHMF was formed in 2007 to honor Chance Harman, the son of Brian and Desirae Harman, and his battle with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, a rare for of a medulloblastoma childhood brain tumor also known as ATRT. Through the strong support of a small community in Southwest Virginia, CHMF has grown into the premier regional prep basketball event in Virginia.
