The Town of Blacksburg will be operating under the following schedule on Monday, January 15 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

Town Offices
Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit*
Operating on Intermediate Service in Blacksburg. Visit https://ridebt.org for more information. All BT administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Aquatic Center*
Operating during regular hours

Blacksburg Community Center*
Operating during regular hours

Refuse/Recycling*
There WILL be refuse and recycling pickup in the southeast quadrant.

Christiansburg
In observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Town Hall will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15.

The Aquatic Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with administrative offices closed.

The Recreation Center will be closed Jan. 12-15 for the Rockstar Invitational Gymnastic Meet.

Solid waste normally collected on Monday, Jan. 15, will be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 16, with Tuesday’s regular collection.
