Christiansburg Institute will host JUBILATION 2012, a public gospel concert  on Friday, July 6,  The concert begins at 7pm at the Days Inn Blacksburg Conference Center, 3503 Holiday Lane, Blacksburg, VA.  Groups performing include: Voices of Expression, First Baptist, Clay Street, Blacksburg, VA; Mass Choir First Baptist, Rock Road, Radford, VA; Family, Pulaski, VA; Duet, Ms. Patricia Berger and Ms. Regina Wingo, St. Paul, AME, Blacksburg, VA; Solo, Ms. Brigette Valentine, Christian Growth Center, Christiansburg, VA, and more!

Jubilation 2012 will be part of the Christiansburg Institute’s Alumni Reunion.  Join us for an evening of singing and celebration! All are invited! Admission is $10 at the door, children under age 12 are admitted free of charge.

Christiansburg Institute was an historic school for African American students in the New River Valley and beyond. Our modern day mission is to preserve the remaining facilities and archives of Christiansburg Institute and to enact the legacy of the former school through serving the multi-cultural needs and interests of today’s New River Valley.
