Half Acre Promotions will be hosting the Newport Jamboree every fourth Saturday through October with old time and bluegrass music at the Newport Community Park (1.3 miles on 42). The next event is Saturday, June 26th from 7:00 – 9:00p.m. featuring Fort Vause and The Porch Loungers. Rain or shine event, donation for adults, 12 and under are free, and bring a lawn chair! The local Ruritan Club will be selling light concessions.
