Free classified ads for local users only, within the New River Valley area (Montgomery, Giles, Floyd, and Pulaski Counties). Ads are posted for seven (7) days, and can be renewed each week. Ads posted more than once in the same week will be deleted. Duplicates will also be deleted. All ads removed after 30 days.

We are no longer accepting free classified ads for area businesses.  Fee-based display and banner ads are available to support our local businesses by contacting our advertising department

WARNING: Be aware for scammers. There are scammers online who troll the web for classified ads. We cannot screen those who respond to your classified ads, so you need to be cautious about dealing with responses to your ads. Many of the scams involve sending the seller more money than the asking price, with instructions to give the leftover amount to the person picking up the item.  They send a cashier's check that later turns out to be phony...but by then your item is long gone, and the bank often comes after you as the depositor to make good on the fraudulent check. So BE GUARDED.  Do not deal with someone from outside our region, particularly if they offer a cashier's check or certified check from a non-local bank.  Your best protection is a healthy skepticism. Deal with someone who can meet you in a public place, and who will pay in cash or through a reliable online escrow or payment service like PayPal where you have some protection.
