Floyd Farmers Market begins May 29th and runs throughout the summer on Saturday mornings from 8 am until noon. All producers are from Floyd or adjacent counties and will include a great line-up of seasonal vegetables and fruits, locally-raised meat and eggs, cut flowers, artisan bread made with organic ingredients and artisan cheese and dairy from our local farmstead creamery. The market is located in the heart of downtown Floyd right across from the Floyd Country Store and directly next door from Red Rooster Coffee Roasting Co, roasting and brewing fair-trade coffee on premises. The Saturday morning market follows the Friday evening Artisans Market and both are held under the Community Market Pavilion, a timber-frame structure build with sustainably-harvested wood and built though local donations and craftsmen.205 S.
