Help Us Upgrade!
So many people have come to rely on the NRV Scanner, particularly in times of bad weather. But we've hit a few times where power outages and changing frequencies keep things from working properly. In order to keep this service available to our readers, it would be ideal to get a scanner unit that is able to be accessed remotely in order to lock out problem channels, add new frequencies, etc. We also need a backup system to take over in the event of a power outage.
