Black House Enters Dwell Magazine Competition for $10,000

The Alexander Black House and Cultural Center is becoming a reality! Funds continue to be raised and plans are underway for restoration of this unique and significant structure to begin as early as August. In addition to the ongoing capital campaign, the Black House has been entered into a contest sponsored by Dwell Magazine and Sub-Zero. The grand prize - $10,000!

Here’s how you can help. Go to http://new.dwell.com/contests/rethinking-preservation/submissions/alexander-black-house-becoming-a-community-cultural-center and cast your vote between February 6 -20. A panel of judges will select a winner from the top ten sites receiving the most votes.
