Business License Renewal Due March 1

Town of Blacksburg business and home occupation license renewal applications for 2012 are due on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Businesses are assessed an annual license tax based on prior year’s annual gross receipts. Taxes and fees must be filed and paid by March 1, 2012 to avoid late filing and late payment penalties of 10% each and 10% interest. Applicants should have received renewal notices in January.
