Parks and Recreation Annual Halloween Carnival
Saturday, October 29, 6-9 pm, Blacksburg Community Center, $2
This annual event provides a fun, safe and supervised observance of Halloween. There will also be a surprise guest and carnival games. Preschool and elementary aged goblins only.
Haunted for a House
October 29, 8 pm - midnight, lawn between Thomas Conner and Alexander Black Houses, 104 Draper Road. There will be a outdoor haunted adventure for older children and adults and a haunted graveyard and activities for children. $2/students, $5/all others. Proceeds to benefit the restoration of the Alexander Black House.
Boo-Doo at First & Main
The merchants of First & Main Blacksburg located at the intersection of King and South Main Streets will be hosting their annual “Boo-Doo" free Trick-or-Treating event, on Monday, October 31 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Children will enjoy Free trick-or-treating, craft area and cupcake walk at the courtyard in front of On a Whim. Merchants who are participating in the trick-or-treating will have an orange balloon on the door of their restaurant or store.
