New River Valley Agency on Aging Advisory Council and Board of Directors Meeting Tuesday, March 23 at the office of the New River Valley Agency on Aging. The Advisory Council meeting will be at 10 a.m. and the Board of Directors meeting will be at 1 p.m., These meeting are open to the public. Inclement weather date, March 30.
Conditions permitting. Five mile, one-way hike from Rt. 613 near Wind Rock, descending Big Mountain to Rt. 635. Meet at the Kroger University City Blvd. parking lot in Blacksburg at 9 a.m.

The Montgomery County Extension Office is offering a series of workshops on home gardening and food preservation. Part 1: Planning and Prep will be held on Monday, March 29th, 6:30pm.
